Responsibilities

• Manage the complete payroll cycle, including data entry, calculations, and processing for clients using Sage 50 payroll.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in payroll disbursements, including salary payments, bonuses, and deductions.
• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure payrolling of benefits as appropriate.
• Oversee compliance with minimum wage and tax regulations, and company policies to prevent discrepancies or legal issues.
• Generate detailed reports on payroll activities, and deal with payroll related enquiries from clients.

Skills

• Extensive experience working with payroll systems such as Sage 50 or QuickBooks.
• Proficiency in data entry with high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in employee compensation records.
• Solid understanding of payroll systems, taxation, National Insurance and pensions administration.
• Excellent IT skills including Word and Excel.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and support human resources initiatives.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing regulations and maintain compliance at all times.

Pay: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
