Job Title: Payroll Manager

Location: Seattle, WA, Hybrid

Pay Rate: $90,000 - $130,000 annually

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Payroll Manager for a wholesale distributor which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in multi-state payroll, team supervision, and ADP looking to further their career in payroll management.

• Lead full-cycle, bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 1,500+ employees with accuracy and timeliness
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate two payroll staff; partner with HR, Accounting/Finance, and department leaders
• Oversee payroll audits, reconciliations, journal entries, tax filings, 401(k)/Roth, garnishments, and W-2 year-end
• Maintain payroll SOPs, internal controls, reporting metrics, and system access permissions
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws and tax regulations while improving workflows through technology

Essential Qualifications

• 10+ years of multi-state payroll experience (preferred) in a mid-to-large company, including 5+ years supervising payroll staff
• Advanced ADP Workforce Now and Time & Attendance skills; accounting cycle knowledge; proficient in Microsoft Office
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field

Bonus Qualifications

• Payroll certification (e.g., CPP or FPC)
