Payroll Manager

LHH is partnering with a longstanding client to help them find their next Payroll Manager. This position is open due to increased size and production of their company. They need to see manufacturing industry experience, multi-state payroll knowledge, and the ability to be 100% on site in San Jose. Is this something you'd be interested in exploring? Apply below!

Duties:

1. Currently regulations knowledge of legality and compliance
2. Delegating task, communicating with the team on responsibilities and projects, encouraging a collaborative environment.
3. Benchmarking on salary ranges, JDs, and hourly pay
4. Manage and process payrolls for multiple state employees & jurisdictions
5. Ensure timely and accurate payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions.
6. Oversee the preparation, documentation, and disbursement of payroll checks, direct deposits, and payroll tax filings.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years minimum experience in Payroll Management and at LEAST 3 years in people management
2. Experienced in using different Payroll systems and holding tech savvy ability to learn and adapt to new systems
3. Manufacturing industry experience required
4. Needs multi state experience - CA required and TX ideal
5. Ability to be 100% on site in San Jose
