PAYROLL MASTER

About the role

We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented Payroll Master to manage payroll processing, ensure accurate employee compensation, and maintain compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process employee payroll accurately and on time
• Compute salaries, overtime, holiday pay, incentives, and deductions
• Monitor attendance, leave records, and timekeeping data for payroll processing
• Prepare payroll reports and maintain payroll records
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and government-mandated contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR)
• Coordinate with HR and other departments regarding payroll concerns
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information
• Visit wet/public markets as required to validate attendance, coordinate payroll-related concerns, and perform other payroll-related activities

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or a related field
• At least 2–3 years of relevant payroll or accounting experience
• Knowledgeable in Sprout Payroll/HRIS System
• Experienced in both Sprout payroll processing and manual payroll computation
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, timekeeping, and government-mandated contributions
• Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and payroll compliance
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in computations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Highly organized and able to handle confidential information
• Can work independently and manage multiple payroll tasks
