Payroll Officer

About the role

The Payroll Officer is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, salary adjustments, statutory contributions, final pay, 13th-month pay, incentives, and other compensation-related transactions. The role ensures compliance with company policies and Philippine labor regulations while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and payroll accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Process weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on schedule
• Prepare payroll registers, summaries, and recap reports
• Validate payroll adjustments, incentives, allowances, and deductions
• Monitor payroll crediting and resolve rejected transactions
• Handle employee payroll concerns and discrepancies
• Process 13th-month pay, final pay, salary increases, and incentives
• Compute annualized withholding tax and prepare BIR Alpha Lists
• Manage SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions and remittances
• Monitor employee loans and payroll deductions
• Ensure confidentiality of payroll and employee information

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Management, Business, or equivalent field
• At least 5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits or Payroll Administration
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws
• Strong knowledge of Government-Mandated Benefits & Statutory Contributions
• Strong knowledge of Compensation & Benefits Administration
• Strong knowledge of Payroll Processing and Compliance
• Strong knowledge of HRIS and Timekeeping Systems
