This role will play a pivotal part in supporting payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and contributing to the ongoing success of the organisation.
  
Key responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll for 1000+ employees
• Maintain employee payroll records and data
• Process new starters, terminations and employee changes
• Manage leave, superannuation and payroll deductions
• Respond to payroll-related queries
• Ensure compliance with awards and payroll legislation
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting
• Support payroll process improvements and system updates

Ideal candidate

• Previous experience in a payroll position
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Sound understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
