Payroll Officer (Part Time)

**About the role:**Our client is an Australian business looking for a Payroll Officer to join their team on a part-time basis to support the payroll manager. The role is responsible for the effective and efficient management of the payroll function including month payroll reconciliations. This is a permanent part-time opportunity with flexibility on days/hours between two-four days per work.

Job Details
Reporting to the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for:

• End to end fortnighly payroll for approx 300 employees across multiple entities
• Assist with reconciliations and payments for
  superannuation, payroll tax and workers compensation
• Review timesheets and ensure data entry accuracy
• Set-up new employees in the system and process termination payments
• Payment of ad-hoc back pays and leave entitlement cash-ins

Successful Applicant
 The successful applicant will have:

• 4+ years’ experience in an end to end payroll position
• Ideally have worked in a small to medium size business and had exposure to GL reconciliations
• Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to consider diverging priorities
• Great communication and customer skills
