The Payroll Processor Assistant is responsible for efficiently managing and processing payroll transactions received from our customers through our advanced payroll processing system.
Essential Functions

• Receiving Payroll Data: Accurately receive and verify payroll data submitted by customers via our payroll software.
• Processing Payments: Handle the processing of direct deposits, paychecks, and cash payments.
• Tax Management: Ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of taxes.
• Wage Garnishments: Manage wage garnishments, including child support and ASUME (Administración para el Sustento de Menores) obligations.
• Compliance: Maintain compliance with all relevant payroll regulations and company policies.

Required Education:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in payroll processing or accounting is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy and attention to detail in handling financial data.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with payroll regulations, tax laws, and wage garnishment processes.
