Payroll Processor

Custom Accounting Services, Inc is seeking an experienced Payroll Processor to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience processing payroll for multiple clients and a strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax requirements, and payroll reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely payroll for multiple clients
• Calculate regular, overtime, bonus, commission, and other payroll earnings
• Process payroll tax filings, payments, and related reporting
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information
• Review payroll reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Handle payroll-related questions from clients and employees
• Stay current with federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements
• Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2s and other required forms
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding payroll questions and deadlines
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and employee information

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience is preferred
• Experience processing payroll for multiple clients is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll taxes and regulations
• Experience with payroll software and accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to meet strict payroll deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with an accounting team
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
