Payroll Processor for Multiple Clients

Accounting/Tax office is looking for a motivated payroll clerk to process payroll for multiple small businesses.

The position requires detailed record-keeping, excellent customer service, adequate computer knowledge, and time management skills.

Clear and basic knowledge of payroll deductions and how employer taxes are calculated.

Clear & precise communication is key!

Successful candidates must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Previous experience with ADP is a plus!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You are the one that clients will ask for answers!

Your job will include gathering the payroll hours from the client, inputting that info accurately into the system, generating the reports, and making sure the clients gets those checks & reports on time, as well as notifying clients of upcoming tax payments. (Approximately 70 small clients each with various amounts of employees)

Handling different pay cycles and pay types.

Reviewing items received by clients and communicating with them regarding errors and/or missing info.

Providing clients with reports, taxes, and checks in a timely matter.

Maintaining full & accurate backup information for future reference or audits.

Maintaining confidentiality of payroll information, while keeping up with new state & federal laws & submitting all required documentation for each client.
