Payroll Specialist

KBW Financial Staffing is partnering with a well-established organization in the greater Lawrence, MA area to add a Payroll Specialist to their growing team. This role is ideal for a payroll professional with a strong processing background who enjoys improving workflows and building clear, effective standard operating procedures.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll across multiple schedules and states with a high degree of accuracy
• Manage garnishments, tax updates, and employee payroll changes
• Ensure payroll compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Support quarter-end and year-end payroll activities, including reconciliations and reporting
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to documentation and SOP development

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a high-volume payroll environment
• Hands-on experience with payroll systems such as ADP, UKG, Paylocity, or similar platforms

Compensation: Up to $35 per hour depending on experience
