• Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and industry-specific financial regulations related to payroll and tax accounting.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to verify employee data, benefit deductions, and tax information.
• Conduct audits of payroll transactions to identify discrepancies or errors, implementing corrective actions promptly.
• Prepare detailed reports on payroll activities, including tax filings, regulatory reports, and internal audits.
• Stay informed about changes in financial regulations affecting payroll processing, ensuring ongoing compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a focus on payroll processing or related functions.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of financial software systems used for payroll management and accounting processes.
• Familiarity with GAAP standards and industry regulations governing financial compliance and reporting.
• Excellent analysis skills to interpret complex financial data accurately.
• Experience with tax accounting, auditing procedures, and financial regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
