The Role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be part of a collaborative payroll team supporting the accurate and timely delivery of end-to-end fortnightly payroll for a large national workforce. You’ll manage payroll reconciliations and remediation, maintain employee records and entitlements, interpret Awards and legislation, and respond to payroll queries across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end payroll
• Manage payroll reconciliations and remediation activities
• Maintain employee records, leave balances and entitlements
• Interpret and apply relevant Awards and EBA's
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and policies
• Respond to internal and external payroll queries
• Work closely with HR, Finance and operational teams
• Support payroll process and system improvements

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience processing high-volume end-to-end payroll
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, Awards and compliance
• Strong payroll systems experience is essential
• Strong attention to detail and accountability
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• A genuine passion for payroll and delivering a high level of service
• Collaborative and proactive approach
