Payroll Specialist

About the role

This role involves processing payroll for security guards with responsibility for complex payroll computations involving multiple shifts, overtime, holiday, premium pays, and deployment-based schedules. You will ensure payroll compliance with Philippine labor laws and coordinate closely with Operations teams to reconcile attendance, deployment, and payroll data.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process payroll for deployed security guards on a weekly, semi-monthly basis
• Review and validate daily time records, duty rosters, attendance logs, and deployment schedules
• Ensure payroll computations comply with the Philippine Labor Code, security service contracts, and company policies
• Ensure payroll is processed and disbursed on time
• Coordinate with Operations regarding attendance discrepancies, deployment changes, and manpower movements
• Prepare payroll reports, payroll registers, and reconciliation schedules
• Resolve payroll inquiries from security personnel promptly and professionally
• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee payroll records

About you

• 3–5 years of payroll experience, with direct responsibility for processing payroll for security guards
• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or related fields
• Minimum 3–5 years of payroll processing experience, with at least 2 years handling payroll for a licensed security agency or a company employing large numbers of security guards
• Thorough understanding of Philippine payroll regulations, labor standards, and statutory requirements
• Strong knowledge of SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contribution computation, remittance procedures, and compliance requirements
• Experience using payroll systems and HRIS applications
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, and data reconciliation
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under tight payroll deadlines
