BakerStarrett LLP, Grinnell, has an opening for a payroll specialist.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for multiple clients
• Files sales tax returns for clients
• Prepare monthly general ledgers
• Assist payroll and bookkeeping teams as needed

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Team player who enjoys working collaboratively
• Prior experience with payroll and/or bookkeeping is a plus
