Payroll Specialist

The right candidate will have a strong background across Payroll in varying size organisations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end payroll processing across weekly and fortnightly pay cycles
• Preparing and processing payroll through to payment
• Managing employee onboarding and offboarding
• Processing payroll adjustments, changes and leave entitlements
• Managing superannuation processing and payroll-related reconciliations
• Preparing payroll journals and assisting with GL reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate employee master data
• Supporting payroll reporting and compliance requirements
• Assisting with general payroll queries and ensuring a high level of service to employees

About you:

• Previous experience in an end-to-end payroll position
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll processes and legislation
• Experience across superannuation, payroll journals and reconciliations
• Comfortable working with weekly and/or fortnightly payroll cycles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
