Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Specialist will support the end‑to‑end payroll process within ADP, ensuring all HR changes, adjustments, and timekeeping files are accurately incorporated into payroll. This role helps validate payroll runs, manages employee changes, and works directly with employees to resolve issues. The Payroll Specialist works closely with HR and the Payroll Manager to maintain compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and validate payroll inputs, including HR changes, new hires, terminations, and compensation adjustments.
• Coordinate with HR to ensure timely and complete payroll data.
• Assist with ADP payroll processing, testing, and reconciliation.
• Respond to employee inquiries and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Support reporting and payroll tax compliance tasks.
• Assist in maintaining payroll documentation, controls, and procedures.
• Support audits and ad‑hoc payroll requests.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably with ADP.
• Strong understanding of payroll rules, multi-state requirements, and payroll data validation.
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
• Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
