Payroll Specialist

Role & responsibilities

Payroll & Compliance Support

• Coordinate with payroll vendors/internal teams for monthly payroll inputs
• Track attendance, leaves, and statutory deductions
• Support compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.)

Attendance, Leave & Employee Data Management

• Track employee attendance, leaves, LWP, and statutory deduction inputs.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HRMS and payroll systems.
• Update employee data related to joiners, exits, transfers, salary changes, and other payroll-impacting changes.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure employee master data is accurate and up to date.

HR Operations & Administration

• Manage joining, onboarding, and exit processes
• Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, confirmations, and exit documents
• Coordinate background verification and induction activities
• Maintain accurate employee records in HRMS and physical files
• Update and manage employee data (personal details, job changes, transfers)
• Handle employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and processes

Policy & Process Support

• Assist in implementing HR policies and standard operating procedures
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements
• Support HR audits and data reporting as required

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 3 Yrs experience in Indian Payroll processing.

Good Communication Skills in English

Open for 1 year renewable contractual role.
