Payroll Specialist

About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
  
We're looking for an experienced payroll professional to join a busy corporate payroll team on a temporary basis, bridging coverage through to the Christmas shutdown and ideally continuing into the new year to help manage the high-volume January pay runs.
This role is based in East Auckland, with hybrid working (2 days from home, 3 days in the office) once you're up to speed, initially you'll be office-based to get full support while learning the ropes.
  
Your day-to-day will include:

• Running full pay cycles accurately and on time
• Managing high-volume, forecasted Christmas pay runs
• Using Excel and reporting tools for reconciliation
• Liaising with employees, managers, and HR on queries
• Spotting opportunities to improve processes

 
About You | Māu
  
Ideally you will have hands-on experience in DataPay, though this is not essential. Experience with other payroll software plus a solid grasp of NZ payroll legislation means you will pick things up fast. You are comfortable with Excel and reporting tools, ready for a fast-paced, busy period.
