Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate monthly payroll calculations, including base salary, overtime, allowances, deductions, and bonuses
• Process monthly payroll and ensure all payments are completed accurately and on schedule
• Manage social insurance procedures (加入・喪失、月額変更、算定基礎)
• Handle year-end tax adjustment (年末調整) and support employee inquiries
• Prepare payroll-related reports for internal stakeholders and management
• Support expense reimbursement processing as needed
• Other administrative tasks

Skills Required

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in payroll calculations and payroll processing
• Good understanding of Japanese payroll practices, social insurance, labor regulations
• Experience using payroll systems or HRIS (e.g., Workday, SAP, 勤怠システム, 給与ソフト) is a plus
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and high attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
