Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with 3–5 years of relevant experience to manage monthly payroll processing, employee compensation, attendance records, and payroll-related reporting. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of payroll procedures, Qatar Labour Law, and Wage Protection System (WPS) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll, including salaries, overtime, allowances, deductions, and other adjustments.
• Review and verify employee attendance, timesheets, leave records, and overtime calculations.
• Prepare and process salary payments in accordance with WPS requirements.
• Calculate annual leave encashment, final settlements, and end-of-service benefits.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records.
• Prepare monthly payroll reports and salary summaries for management.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance to resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Ensure payroll calculations comply with company policies and applicable Qatar Labour Law requirements.
• Assist with employee salary certificates and other payroll-related documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in payroll processing and administration.
• Good knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and WPS procedures.
• Experience in salary calculations, overtime, leave encashment, and end-of-service benefits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll or HR management systems.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Language Requirements

• Fluency in English is required.
• Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees and management.
