We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team and play a key role in ensuring seamless payroll and HR services for our clients. Opportunity to start and establish HR department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of payroll-related functions, including processing, tax compliance, and handling automated timekeeping systems.
• Address and resolve client inquiries and system issues, escalating complex matters when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to offer comprehensive client support.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
• Engage in client retention efforts through proactive communication and relationship-building activities.
• Assist with quarter-end, year-end, and open enrollment tasks.
• Visit local clients as necessary to enhance service quality and client relations
• Assist with the administration of benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports and ensure clients receive accurate documentation.
• Stay updated on payroll and HR best practices, legislation, and technology trends.
• Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, addressing concerns and solving issues in a timely manner.

Job Details:

• Types: Part-time and Full-time positions available.
• Physical Setting: Office environment.
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
• Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay.
• Location: Glendale, CA 91204. Reliable commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required).

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in payroll and HR (Required).
• Strong skills in client service and problem-solving.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
