Payroll Specialist

Job Summary:

Responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing, employee records, attendance data, and payroll-related reports while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process employee payroll accurately and within established payroll schedules.
• Collect, verify, and encode attendance, overtime, undertime, leave, and other payroll-related data.
• Maintain accurate and updated employee payroll records.
• Calculate salaries, deductions, allowances, overtime, and other payroll adjustments.
• Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and supporting documents.
• Assist in the preparation and processing of government-mandated contributions and payroll-related requirements.
• Review payroll data and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies.
• Coordinate with HR and other departments regarding payroll concerns and employee information.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding salary, deductions, attendance, and other payroll matters.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of employee payroll and personal information.
• Assist in payroll reconciliation and month-end payroll activities.
• Ensure payroll records and documents are properly filed and maintained.
• Assist with audits and provide payroll-related documents when required.
• Perform other payroll and HR-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Previous experience in payroll, accounting, HR, or administrative work is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Willingness to learn payroll systems and company procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using payroll or HRIS systems.
• Familiarity with Philippine payroll practices and government-mandated contributions.
• Experience handling payroll for a large employee population is an advantage.
• Experience in the logistics, courier, transportation, or similar industry is a plus.

Pay: Php16,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
