Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll weekly, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for employees, and maintaining compliance with relevant tax regulations. This role requires handling confidential information with integrity and professionalism, while supporting the overall payroll operations to ensure smooth and efficient processing.

Duties

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees, ensuring proper calculation of wages, deductions, and benefits.
• Manage payroll tax obligations, including withholding, reporting, and remittance in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion and integrity.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Prepare reports related to payroll activities for management review.

Skills

• Experience in payroll processing or degree
• Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications
