Payroll Supervisor

About the role

Under the guidance of the Operator Human Capital Management Services & Administration Manager, to provide the managerial leadership to the payroll team to execute the payroll process in an accurate and timely manner, to maintain payroll records in line with established Company policies and procedures and to analyze the Operator payroll data in support of the relevant Factory performance and create an engaged workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Implement operator wages-related policies and procedures under the guidance of Operator Human Capital Management Services & Administration Manager

• Audit related departments to ensure they adhere to the policies and procedures to support the operator payroll

• Hold Immediate Employees (IEs) accountable for calculating the operator payroll

• Consolidate and verify the payroll calculation data

• Regularly audit the payroll calculation process and payroll reports to ensure the accuracy of the calculations

• Respond to operator enquiries regarding their wages

• Resolve issues with operator payroll under the guidance of the Operator Human Capital Management Services & Administration Manager in compliance with local laws

• Compare the payroll data against budget and historical records to identify variances

• Understand and collect the local wages and benefits data and overall employment market situation

About you

• Agree on SMART goals and assignments with each IE and provide continuous managerial guidance and feedback
• Assess the strengths and development needs of each IE and coach them in developing their capabilities
• Lead by example and behave consistently with the Group's core values and culture
• Take accountability for self-assessment of how to improve own personal effectiveness in the current role
