What they need
Part-time | 20 hours per week | 6-month fixed-term (Maternity Cover) | Ngauranga & Lower Hutt from February 2027.
Adecco is partnering with JNS Construction to find a capable and organised Payroll Support Administrator to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term basis.
Why JNS Construction?
JNS Construction is a professional, close-knit team that takes real pride in the work they deliver. They value quality, reliability, clear communication and doing things properly, while maintaining a friendly and supportive working environment.
It’s a team where people are encouraged to take ownership, work together and be proud of the results they achieve.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and wants to use their payroll, accounts and administration skills across a busy construction business.
Starting around November 2026, you’ll provide hands-on support across the office, helping keep the day-to-day administration running smoothly while assisting with payroll and accounts.
What you’ll be doing
This is a varied role where no two days will look the same. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing payroll administration support and maintaining accurate payroll information
- Assisting with accounts administration and general finance tasks
- Supporting month-end reconciliations
- Processing data, maintaining records and keeping documentation up to date
- Supporting the wider office with day-to-day administration
- Assisting with general office coordination and ad-hoc tasks
- Providing additional support across the business where needed
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised and enjoys being the person who keeps things ticking along.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Previous experience in payroll, accounts or general administration
- Good attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage your own workload
- Good computer skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- A proactive, hands-on approach
- Clear communication skills and a team-focused attitude
You don’t need to be a payroll or accounting expert. If you have solid administration experience with some exposure to payroll and accounts, we’d love to hear from you.
Interested? Apply directly via Seek, email your CV to [email protected], or call [021 675 498](tel:021 675 498) for a confidential chat.
