Are you passionate about fostering positive behaviour and creating a thriving learning environment for parents and children across Tai Tokerau? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L) Incredible Years Adviser in the Tai Tokerau region.

The Incredible Years® evidence-based early intervention parenting programs focus on strengthening parenting competencies and fostering parent involvement in children's school experiences, to promote children's academic, social, and emotional skills and reduce conduct problems. The Ministry of Education is committed to inclusive practice and all our PB4L initiatives aim to encourage pro-social behaviour that leads to improved learner engagement and achievement.

PB4L Incredible Years Adviser is responsible for coordinating, managing, and evaluating the delivery of Incredible Years (IY) programmes across the region. This includes planning and organising programme delivery by accredited facilitators, as well as directly delivering courses where required and providing coaching, mentoring, and quality assurance feedback to facilitators.

The role also involves overseeing the regional Incredible Years budget, ensuring effective financial management, resource allocation, and monitoring of programme expenditure to support service delivery outcomes.

This is a permanent, full-time position, based in our Whangārei offices, and is an opportunity for you to affect positive behaviour change at a community level whilst offering a fantastic lifestyle and work-life balance opportunity in one of New Zealand's most stunning and diverse regions.

Salary range: $75,815 - $91,347 per annum + KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.
