What they need
Position Title: PC Support Technician
Location: Newport, RI
Clearance required: SECRET
**Scope of Work:**Provides desktop and personal computer support for NUWCDIVNPT users, resolving hardware and software issues and supporting the network help desk.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Provide network help desk coverage and respond to user questions and technical problems
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop hardware, software, and peripherals
Log help desk calls and open and track work orders in the service desk ticket system
Support activation, deactivation, and relocation of network users and equipment
Minimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level.
Desktop support and troubleshooting skills
Personnel supporting the classified and unclassified network infrastructure must hold the certifications required to support the systems in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2
