PC Technician 1

We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented PC Technician to join our team. This position provides technical support and troubleshooting for client computer systems, software, and networks.

The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent customer-service skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with nontechnical users. You will play an important role in maintaining reliable, secure, and efficient IT environments for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure new PCs and workstations
• Upgrade, maintain, and repair computer hardware
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot applications
• Apply software patches and security updates
• Monitor client systems using remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools
• Provide responsive help desk and remote technical support
• Manage and maintain client PCs and workstations
• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and support activities
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
• Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and escalated issues
• Manage assigned tasks and service requests efficiently

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Windows operating systems
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting techniques
• Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP
• Experience in a help desk, desktop support, or similar technical-support role
• Familiarity with firewalls and common network security practices
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer-service orientation
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
