PCA

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and professional individual to provide high-quality personal care and support to clients in their homes or care settings. In this role, you will help promote comfort, dignity, safety, and independence while building positive, respectful relationships with the people you support.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and emotional support while encouraging independence and wellbeing.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe, organized environment.
• Support clients with transfers, repositioning, and the use of mobility aids as needed.
• Observe and report changes in client condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor or care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation when required.
• Respect client privacy, confidentiality, and personal preferences at all times.
• Adhere to all safety procedures, infection control standards, and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in personal care, home care, healthcare, or a related support role is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach.
• Ability to follow care instructions, work independently, and maintain professionalism.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and other hands-on care tasks as required.
• Basic understanding of safety, hygiene, and confidentiality practices.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to meet scheduling needs may be preferred depending on the setting.
