Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant coordinator to oversees and supports a team of PCAs to ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care. This role involves scheduling, training, and supervising staff, while ensuring care plans are followed, compliance requirements are met, and clients’ needs are addressed in a compassionate and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily schedules and assignments of Personal Care Assistants.
• Ensure PCAs understand and implement individual client care plans.
• Monitor and support staff performance through supervision and feedback.
• Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with care standards and organizational policies.
• Act as a liaison between PCAs, clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Provide hands-on support and coverage as needed, including personal care duties.
• Facilitate onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care delivered, incidents, and staff performance.
• Assist with recruitment, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, health regulations, and organizational procedures.

• Qualifications & Skills:
• Knowledge of Harmony and Authenticare
• Minimum [2+] years of experience in a personal care or coordination role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Understanding of person-centered care principles.
• Proficient in care management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transport.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
