PCA Personal Care Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to patients in various home settings. Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive environment.
• Monitor patient health by observing changes in condition and reporting any concerns to nursing staff.
• Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety during movement.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas.
• Engage with patients in a manner that promotes dignity and respect.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in providing care for others.
