PCA Personal Care Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Monitor and document patient health status, including vital signs and any changes in condition.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
• Support clients with dementia care by implementing appropriate strategies to manage symptoms.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop personalized care plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care, nursing home settings, or caregiving is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient care techniques and practices is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
• Ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent time management skills.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others, especially those with disabilities or chronic conditions.
• Familiarity with social work principles is a plus but not mandatory.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
