PCA/CFSS Worker

Pay: $18.31 - $20.00 per hour

Job description:

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide direct support in meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
• Help clients with mobility and lifting as needed, promoting independence while ensuring safety.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their well-being and social interaction.
• Implement behavior management strategies as necessary to support clients' emotional health.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment within the personal care or retirement home setting.
• Document daily activities and any changes in client condition to ensure proper care continuity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or senior care is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of personal care systems and practices related to direct support.
• Ability to lift and assist clients safely, adhering to proper techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and their families.
• Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
