Nursing Assistant Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide or CNA to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to clients. This role is crucial in ensuring client comfort and safety while promoting their overall well-being.

Hours: Monday through Friday 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Caregiver must be able to cook a homecooked meal.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols..
• Engage with patients to provide emotional support and companionship.
• Assist in the management of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or similar qualification is preferred.
• Familiarity with home community care practices is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
