Job Description

True Advantage Home Care, LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide quality in-home care to a client who requires assistance with activities of daily living.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience assisting clients with mobility limitations and must be knowledgeable and experienced in safely operating a Hoyer lift.

Work Schedule

• Monday–Friday and Sunday:
• Morning visit: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
• Midday visit: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
• Saturday:
• Morning visit: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
• No afternoon visit on Saturdays

Please note: This position requires two separate visits per day, except Saturdays. Applicants must be available for the scheduled visits.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist client with bathing and personal hygiene.
• Provide dressing and grooming assistance.
• Assist with feeding and meal preparation as needed.
• Safely transfer and reposition client using a Hoyer lift.
• Assist with toileting and other personal care needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition.
• Document services provided according to agency policies.
• Provide compassionate, respectful, and dependable care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a PCA, caregiver, CNA, or home health aide preferred.
• Prior hands-on Hoyer lift experience required.
• Experience caring for clients with limited mobility.
• Ability to safely assist with personal care and transfers.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Must be patient, professional, and compassionate.
