Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and caring PCA/RCA (Personal Care Assistant/Resident Care Assistant) professionals to join our team. In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality assistance with daily living activities, promote residents’ independence, and ensure their comfort and safety. Your dedication will help foster a warm, respectful community where residents feel valued and cared for.

Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status
• Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols
• Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction
• Follow safe patient lifting practices and manual handling techniques to prevent injury during transfers or mobility assistance
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, resident progress, and any incidents or changes in condition
• Uphold residents’ rights by respecting their dignity, privacy, and individual preferences

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and geriatrics is advantageous
• Experience assisting with ADLs and providing personal care in home or community settings is desirable
• Familiarity with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and basic first aid/CPR certification is essential
• Background working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments will be beneficial
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks effectively
• Strong communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and team members

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
