PCB Design Engineer

Hardware Engineer Responsibilities:

• Develop circuit designs, including schematics, PCB layouts, and component selection.
• Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for electronic systems.
• Create and evaluate hardware prototypes to validate designs.
• Conduct functional, performance, and reliability testing of hardware.
• Work with firmware and software engineers to integrate hardware and firmware.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of designs.
• Prepare design documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test reports.
• Maintain and update technical records for hardware designs and modifications.
• Ensure hardware designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines.
• Participate in EMC/EMI testing and certification processes.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing and resolve hardware-related issues.

Assist with troubleshooting and product debugging in production or field environments.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in hardware design and development, preferably in an electronic manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in circuit design software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, OrCAD).
• Strong understanding of microcontrollers, power electronics, and communication interfaces.
• Experience with PCB layout, fabrication, and assembly processes.
• Knowledge of testing equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with hardware development for IoT, wireless communication, or automotive systems.
• Experience in thermal management, power supply design, or signal integrity analysis.

Knowledge of reliability testing and environmental standards (e.g., RoHS, REACH).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
