Pcb Design Engineer (Team Lead)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced PCB Design Team Lead to manage and execute high-quality PCB design projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in multi-layer PCB design, high-speed routing, and SI/PI practices, along with leadership capabilities to guide a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop multi-layer PCBs (2, 4, 6, 8+ layers)
• Convert schematics into optimized PCB layouts
• Perform component placement and library creation
• Handle routing for high-speed, analog, and digital circuits
• Apply Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) practices
• Ensure adherence to fabrication constraints and assembly requirements
• Generate and manage Gerber / ODB++ files
• Review and analyze DFM (Design for Manufacturability) reports
• Collaborate with PCB fabrication vendors and EMS partners
• Support board bring-up and debugging activities
• Analyze layout-related defects and perform FMEA
• Implement grounding and shielding techniques
• Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC standards (IEC 61000)

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in PCB design tools (Altium Designer preferred)
• Hands-on experience in SI/PI analysis
• Knowledge of high-speed design techniques
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC compliance standards
• Good understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in leading a team or mentoring engineers
• Exposure to end-to-end product development lifecycle
