- Working closely with engineers to understand the requirements of the circuit design
- Ensuring the PCB design meets all electrical and physical specifications
- Performing layout verification and testing to ensure the functionality and integrity of the design
- Creating and maintaining design documentation, including schematics, bill of materials, and fabrication and assembly instructions
- Collaborating with manufacturing teams to ensure the PCB design can be efficiently produced
- Keeping updated on the latest trends and advancements in PCB design and production
- Addressing and resolving design issues that may arise during the testing or production stages
