PCB Layout Engineer

Create multilayer, high-speed PCB layouts (analog/digital/mixed signal) for medical equipment while optimizing for EMI/EMC compliance and DFM/DFA/DFT.

Key Responsibilities

• PCB Design & Layout: Create multilayer, high-speed PCB layouts (analog / digital / mixed signal) while optimizing for EMI/EMC compliance.
• Component Placement & Routing: Strategically place components and perform critical trace routing to maximize performance.
• DFM/DFA/DFT Implementation: Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Assembly (DFA), and Testability (DFT) principles to ensure high yield.
• Document Generation: Produce Gerber files, fabrication drawings, and assembly documentation (BOM).
• Collaboration: Work with hardware engineers & inter departments to optimize designs.
• Validation & Debugging: Perform PCB assembly testing, board bring-up, and troubleshooting using oscilloscopes and digital analysers.

Qualifications & Requirements

• BE / B. Tech / MTech in Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 1 to 6 years of experience in high-speed PCB layout design.
• CAD Tools: Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, OrCAD.
• Industry Standards: Knowledge of IPC Class 2 & 3 standards.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of PCB stack-up, impedance control, and RF/wireless antenna placement.
• Troubleshooting: Ability to debug circuits, analyse signal integrity, and use lab equipment.
