About the role

Design Test Tooling assemblies for Electrical Test First Time Build of cable assemblies. Review the design of printed circuit boards and fixtures for Electrical Test of First Time Build of HDR cable product and feedback findings to designer. Create Process Documentation for Electrical Test processes and create and qualify Test Programs for Electrical Test.

Key responsibilities

• Design Test Tooling assemblies for Electrical Test First Time Build of cable assemblies
• Review the design of printed circuit boards and fixtures for Electrical Test of First Time Build of HDR cable product and feedback findings to designer
• Create Process Documentation for Electrical Test processes
• Create and qualify Test Programs for Electrical Test
• Cooperate with SIG ATG to assemble, debug, qualify new Test Systems
• Support production floor for troubleshooting Low and High-Speed Test systems
• Perform failure analysis of Electrical Test failed product and determine root cause with support from Global company teams
• Cooperate with global company teams to maintain company HDR product serialization system
• Part number creation and configuration in company serialization and tracking software
• Cooperate with control engineer, process engineer, manufacturing engineer for transfer project & sustaining improvement project on Electrical Test side

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Above 2 years related working experience on PCB board design
• Familiar with LSET, HSET, signal integrity test
• Experience in engineering design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD etc)
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing process is a plus
• Experience in creating and maintaining serialization scripting
• Strong interpersonal, technical, verbal, and written communication skills are a must
• Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes
