PCBA Pre-Processing Technician

About the role

You will be responsible for the setup, operation, daily maintenance, and servicing of pre-processing equipment, including component forming machines, lead-cutting machines, precision baking ovens, and taping machines. You will optimize pre-processing processes for server-grade electronic components and troubleshoot equipment abnormalities and processing quality issues.

Key responsibilities

• Setup, operation, daily maintenance, and servicing of pre-processing equipment, including component forming machines, lead-cutting machines, precision baking ovens, and taping machines
• Optimize pre-processing processes for server-grade electronic components; develop and update work instructions
• Troubleshoot equipment abnormalities and processing quality issues
• Monitor yield and efficiency in the pre-processing section
• Train operators on equipment operation and work procedures
• Manage equipment spare parts and maintain records of equipment operation, maintenance, and repair activities
• Implement MSD (Moisture Sensitive Device) control requirements and optimize baking process parameters
• Reduce component loss

About you

• Technical secondary school (vocational) education or above, preferably majoring in Electronics or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience as a pre-processing technician in server PCBA or the electronics industry
• Proficient in operating various pre-processing equipment and able to independently troubleshoot common equipment faults
• Able to read and understand BOMs and component datasheets/specifications
• Familiar with the characteristics of server-grade electronic components and MSD control requirements
• Basic English reading and writing skills
• Able to work on a rotating shift schedule
• Strong hands-on skills with basic process optimization capabilities
• Experience operating fully automated pre-processing production lines and optimizing related processes is preferred
