The Job

The Department of Public Health, California Children Services (CCS) Division is accepting applications for CCS Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator assists the Public Health Program Manager in planning, developing and monitoring of the program budget; developing and implementing a wide range of projects that will assist and enhance staff and service delivery for effectiveness and efficiency; make recommendations to the manager regarding staffing issues, service delivery and program practice. Minimum Requirements Education: Thirty semester (45 quarter) units in public, business, health administration or behavioral science; or a closely related field. Experience: Two years of professional, general administrative experience that is directly related to the development and administration of a California Children Services Program. Administrative experience must include program operations and budgeting.

Desired Qualifications The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in program planning/development, and administration as well as supervisory experience.

Selection Process

The examination will consist of a competitive evaluation of qualifications based on a review of the application and the required supplemental application for California Children Services Program Coordinator.
