PCS7 Engineer (Automation / Control Systems)

With engineering and integration capabilities offered worldwide, they specialize in Process Control & Process Safety Systems, Automation and Control Systems, Digital & IIoT, and Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security — delivering everything from safety assessment and systems design to full turnkey systems integration, on-site commissioning, training and maintenance.

As part of their continued growth, our client is looking for an experienced PCS7 Engineer to join their automation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a control systems professional to take ownership of projects end-to-end — from design through to commissioning — while working with a market-leading Siemens PCS7 platform on projects across the energy, process and heavy industrial sectors.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage and execute assigned projects within schedule and budget
• Translate project requirements and specifications into Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and logic diagrams
• Design system architecture and carry out PLC programming
• Develop HMI graphics
• Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and site commissioning
• Liaise effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors and customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure proper project documentation and provide regular project progress reports

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Control & Instrumentation Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, with hands-on SCADA/PLC project exposure
• Solid understanding of P&ID and process flow drawings
• Proficiency in DCS, SCADA and PLC programming
• Proficiency with Siemens Simatic PCS 7 is essential
• Familiarity with Safety & Critical Control industry standards and regulations
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines
