PCU RN - Per Diem

Role: PCU Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings, including patient assessment, monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications and IV therapies, collaborating with healthcare teams, maintaining accurate records, adhering to safety standards, educating patients and families, and adapting to various hospital units.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN License (active)
• At least 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on assignment

Key Duties: Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, administer treatments, collaborate with medical staff, ensure safety standards, and educate patients/families. Flexibility to choose shifts that fit individual schedules, with options for daily and weekly pay, mobile scheduling, and local support.
