Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a high level of customer service.
Duties
- Safely operate a bus, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the journey.
- Carry out walk round checks of the vehicle.
- Be able to communicate with passengers.
- Driving buses on designated school routes.
- Keep bus clean inside and out.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably as a bus driver or in a similar role.
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for performing basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting issues.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with passengers and team members effectively.
- Local area knowledge would be useful.
