PD CAD Engineer

Position: PD CAD Engineer
Experience: 5-9 Years Experience
Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Physical Design (PnR) methodologies and flows.

• Drive implementation and optimization using Synopsys Fusion Compiler (FC).

• Support block-level and top-level Physical Design activities.

• Automate and improve design flows using scripting languages.

• Work closely with CAD, Physical Design, STA, and methodology teams.

• Debug and resolve design flow issues across multiple projects.

• Develop and maintain tools/utilities for automation and productivity improvements.

• Enable and support advanced node implementation methodologies.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Physical Design (PnR).
• Hands-on experience with Synopsys Fusion Compiler (FC).
• Strong understanding of Physical Design flow including:
  • Floorplanning
  • Placement
  • Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS)
  • Routing
  • Timing Closure
  • Physical Verification
• Experience in flow development and methodology enablement.
• Exposure to CAD/EDA flow support activities.
• Strong scripting skills in TCL, Perl, Python, or Shell.
• Good understanding of STA concepts and timing analysis.
• Experience working on advanced technology nodes.
