Position: PDI Supervisor
Industry: Electric Vehicle (EV) Two Wheeler

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) process for EV Two Wheelers.
• Lead and coordinate 2 separate PDI teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Ensure all vehicles undergo proper inspection before dispatch/delivery.
• Check vehicle fitment, electrical systems, battery, wiring, brakes, tyres, lights, controls, body condition, and overall functionality.
• Ensure compliance with company-defined PDI quality standards and checklists.
• Identify, document, and coordinate rectification of defects found during inspection.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Service, and Dispatch teams for timely resolution of issues.
• Monitor daily PDI output, rejection/rework, pending vehicles, and team performance.
• Maintain proper PDI reports, inspection records, and defect reports.
• Train and guide PDI technicians to improve inspection quality and reduce rework.
• Ensure zero-defect vehicles are released for dispatch.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: 5–12 years in PDI/Quality/Inspection, preferably in EV Two Wheeler, Automobile, or Automotive Manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of EV two-wheeler components and inspection procedures.
• Experience in team handling and production/PDI coordination.
• ITI/Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field preferred.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and meet daily production/dispatch targets.
