PEB/MEP Project Incharge ( Construction Industry )

Role Description The Mechanical Engineer PEB (Construction Equipment Installation) role at Nexfore Consulting is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves planning, supervising, and executing the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and pre-engineered building (PEB) systems at construction sites. The engineer will review technical drawings, coordinate with project managers, contractors, and safety teams, and ensure installations comply with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include conducting site inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, optimizing equipment layouts for productivity, and supporting documentation for audits and certifications. The role also requires preparing technical reports, contributing to R&D and process improvements, and providing technical input during client meetings and liaison activities.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with hands-on experience in construction equipment installation and PEB projects.
• Proficiency in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for reviewing, modifying, and developing mechanical layouts and components.
• Competence in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and monitoring progress against safety and quality standards.
• Experience in Research and Development (R&D) for improving equipment performance, installation methods, and safety practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and construction codes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail in technical reporting.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with site personnel and stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on-site at construction locations in Mumbai and adapt to dynamic project environments.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
